STORM I is our first STORM super resolution system which is capable of 3D multi-color imaging with 20 nm lateral resolution and 40 nm axial resolution. Our home-build software enables real-time data processing and display. It is developed based on a Nikon Ti-E inverted microscope with motorized TIRF illuminator.
Experiences gained via building STORM I give rise to the birth of the upgraded STORM 2. This device currently allows fast simultaneous imaging of double-color with minimal channel crosstalk. It will be upgraded towards triple-color in viva imaging with second temporal resolution.
We have developed a line-Bessel sheet (LBS) microscope for 5D live-cell imaging.
